One really fast way to almost ensure you will not get the job you want is to show up late. Or not show up at all for the interview. Most employers do not take kindly to that. I think the importance of being punctual should be taught to children at a young age. Some people go through life with absolutely no time management skills. I just would want them to find a way to help them build some sort of skills to get them places on time. I guess some people just do not care if they are on time at all.
