Boy I sure wish I had read this article months ago!
My dumb realtor said short sales were easy, I guess she was just trying to get a pay check. If I had known that it would take that long and need so many extentions, I would have bought the other house! For us buying a short sale was a nightmare, but I must say, mostly because I didn’t expect it to be so challenging. Had I known I wouldn’t have moved out of my apartment expecting to close the next week! I had to live with my inlaws for three months!
