My mother-in-law just came to live with us, as she is getting older and needs someone there every day to help her out. I always said that there was no way I would put either my parents or my wife’s parents in a nursing home, and I wasn’t kidding. It’s been nice to have her around, although it has put a little bit of financial strain on us. I sure wish my boss would stop withholding taxes – I’ve heard that there’s no actual law requiring employers to take taxes out. I would happily pay my taxes once a year, instead of a little at a time out of every paycheck!
