Prince is my favorite artist of all time. He just really is the master of lyrics and sound. He has recorded the best songs ever like “Diamonds and Pearls” and “Purple Rain” just to name a few. When I hear him sing those songs I can feel his pain and warmth in his words. When I said goodbye to my last husband I knew that I had a deeper understanding of the power of music just by being able to relate to an artist’s song. I think we all have those songs that make us stop and catch our breath and these songs do that for me.
